Winna was telling ToungeLuck that she owns, probably because she found the thread that he was talking about.

THERE IS MENTION OF FUTURAMA IN THE SIMPSONS!

I don't know if this has been mentioned but in one of the episodes some Simpson character jumps off a cliff and while he's falling he yells, " Why did they cancel Futurama!" also in the Simpsons I have seen pictures of Bender and maybe Fry.

We know.

Fry appeared in a couch gag.  Bender has been on The Simpsons twice (three times, if you count Milhouse's Bender doll).  However, this is the thread for Simpsons references on Futurama; you want the thread for Futurama references on The Simpsons.

That was in "Homer the Vigilante" (season 5) when Chief Wiggum gets attacked by a police dog   :laff: One of the reporters photographing his pain looks very much like Amy, with a similar hairstyle and evening wearing pink. Check it out for yourself on the Simpsons Season 5 DVD Box set.

1. You are responding to a post from almost two years ago.

2. You are responding to a post from a user who has been banned.

3. You are responding to a post which you yourself already responded to less than two months ago.

Please get a clue.

Please, please don't make me tell you again. Do not be a dumbass and bump threads that are two years old with nothing to contribute. You told everyone within forty feet of you about Bart's head, we don't need to hear it again.

2 things:
1: Matt Groening publicly announced that Family Guy was a ripoff of the simpsons.  (I think.  I might be wrong.)
2: The title of this thread is "Simpsons in Futurama," not "Family guy and Simpsons" or "Family Guy in Futurama."

I'm not sure if anyone had mentioned this but futurama is in the simpsons several times, for example....

1.In one of the couch gags in Season 12, Homer,Marge(who's holding Maggie), and Lisa come through the the tubes(in Futurama) and instead of Bart coming through Fry does.

2.While Homer, Marge, and the kids are renting a video you can see a blury poster that says futurama with fry and bender on it directly behind them.

3.In and episode when the Simpsons look into the future, a older version Homer and Bart drive through a dark tunnel and when they come back through Bender is in the car with them.

4.In one of the episodes a teenager his on a cliff, commiting suicide and with his last words he screams out "Why did you cancil Futurama"

5.In episode where they attend a com-con, where Matt Groening is signing autographs, Milhouse walks up to him with a little bender toy and says "Can you sign my Bender doll"

6.In an episode when the Simpsons get cable, Bart goes nuts in class and all the t.v people apear and one of them is bender.

It's actually Season 12, episode BABF22 "HOMR". Futurama didn't start airing until the Simpsons tenth season, anyway.  ;)

Fry appears at a couch gag instead of Bart through the tubes that appear in Futurama

Bender appears 3 times: "Bart vs. Lisa and the 3rd Grade", in Bart's allucination, "Future-Drama", a reference to Futurama, Bender appears in Homer's flying car and gets thrown away, and "Missionary: Impossible", at the end of the episode.

A guy says "Why did the cancel Futurama" and attemps suicide in an episode, Uter wears that Futurama shirt in a Treehouse of horror, and I can't remember more in The Simpsons, but there must be more!  :p

I hate to get into this and I will apologise for going on about the whole where is Spingfield business, but, here goes.  Springfield can only be bassed on one real Springfield, the one in Illinois, for several reasons.  1. The only bridge into Springfield is a duplicate of the Illinois river bridge on Rt. 127.  2.  If one continues on 127 into Springfield you will pass an elementary school the Simpson elementary school.  3.  In the episode where the Simpsons go to Japan when they are returning to Springfield Homer looks out of the window just after the captain announces their desent into Springfield and sees a winding river with a large silver arch on the far side. A sight that can only be seen from the sky near Springfield IL.  4.  The well known(in Illinois)rivalry between Springfield and its' nearby neighbor Shelbyville.
I lived in Oregon for several years and will grant that many geographic elements are in fact based on Portland landmarks as well as chacters named for the streets but for it's model only Illinois is so totally represented.
