Bender eating money?

Hello, i think this is my first post... Anyway...
I was watching the second season dvd last night, in the episode S02E17: Bender Gets Made.

At the end of the episode, that little robot comes to bender with his share of the money from the zuban cigares job. Bender then starts to eat the money... And says something like "sweet legal tender"?

Anyway, does Bender usually eat money? Or is he just storing it inside of him?

Yup, Lil' Tim gave Bender his cut from the Zuben cigar job.
Its the only episode that Bender eats money.(that I know of)He's definitely depositing the money into his chest cavity.(Booze money I suppose?)

H Like MrMayat said he only stores the money inside him, much like he did with Amy's watch and earrings in "Fry & The Slurm Factory".

The only thing Benders consumes is alcohol (and the occasional can of slurm and sterno-something-something) because he need the chemical energy to power his systems.

Yeah, he only stores money and the occasional wallet for fun. Well, not really, he just wants the money.

doesnt bender just use his mouth as an alternative entrance to his inside? the sound of bottles breaking when he swallows them sort of implies that to me..

Well remember the 30% iron chef? he eats the shoe pie and retrieves it from his torso door.

Some small funnel probably diverts all nutrients, like alcohol and sterno-something-and-another, to a compartment that retrieves the energy. The rest goes directly into the chest cavity.

His eyes must lead to the chest cavity too, as the lizard went through them and out his chest door when Bender was in Mexico with Hermes. Btw, top favorite best site gag!!
