I don't know if this has been mentioned in the thread already, but I just noticed that in A FISHFULL OF DOLLARS, in the 20th century hotel Fry is staying in, he is looking through a box of tapes to watch. Yet, in WHEN ALIENS ATTACK, Professor Farnsworth clearly states that every tape had been destroyed during the second coming of Jesus.

Ah, you're right.

Most video tapes were damaged in 2047 during the second coming of Jesus.

In "Bendin' In The Wind" when Bender falls at the "Worf" and is then hit by Beck's bus, when that singing robot walks back to the bus after they steal Bender's check, his mouth flashes briefly as if he's talking, but there is no sound.

Also, for the goof listed in the post above this, when did they mention it was made from a cow?

Maybe it was censored, or they never got around to inserting an interjection. You'll also notice that in 'I, Roommate', when Hermes says 'We'll bill you for the couch', his mouth doesn't move.

And as for the manwich... They don't call it a hamburger, aka, made out of ham. They call it a manwich, made out of...

Sorry for the double post, but I was watching 'I Second That Emotion' today, and I noticed another goof.
When the crew comes back from a delivery, they usually enter the lounge through that door by the couch. But in ISTE, that door leads to the bathroom!
Is this true or am I just messing up the perspectives?

If you buy a can of Manwich, you'll notice that the only ingredient not included is the meat.  You have to add that yourself.  Traditionally, ground beef is used, but you could use ground turkey, or lamb, or whatever you want.  In the future, they probably use buggalo.

Well here's another one from "Bendin' In The Wind". When everyone arrives in San Francisco, they go under a "Welcome to San Francisco" sign that appears to be at the start of the Golden Gate bridge. This means Fry drove his van over the bridge when they first arrived. Later in the episode, we discover it's a hover bridge, and Fry's van goes falling into the water.

EDIT: My head hurts  :p

They're obviously two different bridges, the Golden Gate has a red tint to it, the bridge in the earlier picture has a cold steel look to it; they just happen to have similar style structures.  Besides, the golden gate bridge was moved to another location by Magneto in the XMen3 movie so that there could be a land route to Alcatraz.

I just watched "Insane In The Mainframe". When Malfunctioning Eddie leaves his cell when he is 'cured', you can clearly see his feet are small conveyor belts, but when he walks (or I should perhaps say slides), the lines on them don't move.

@ thefryman- yea, they mention it in the audio commentaries as well.

@ Ivan_fry- also in a tale of 2 santas, when leela and fry and running along the conveyor belt, it doesnt move either.

I thought I would bring this up

On disc 1 of the 3rd season, there is a special feature of the X-Mas message delivered by David Cohen. the episode was too inapropriate to air at 7:30, but in the message it shows Cohen pouring an alcohaulic beverage then driving away in a car.
so its alright to drink and drive?

I just thought I would put it in the goof thread.

We had a long tradition (running gag) of gender confusion about certain posters before those gender symbols got added, so it's sort of a continuation of that.

Also, it's useful in that it gives us a default setting other than male or female.

I am sure this one has been mentioned before.
Remember back in Space Pilot 3000, when fry set the timer for 1000 years?
He fell in at exactly midnight on new years eve, so shouldn't he have woken up in the year 3000, at exactly 12:00 , instead of 2999?

Probably, but in the Cryonic Woman it's obvious the people there can freeze and thaw out folks easily when ever they want. Maybe the staff thought it was close enough, or his tube was wasting space/power, or they got tired of looking at him. OR they realized he didn't pay for the service.

In, "The Why of Fry", if math equations are countable as facts, then the brains should never be done collecting facts, 1+1, 1+2... 1+99999999999999, and we haven't even gotten to 2+1, 2+2... 2+9999999999 yet  :D

So... there should be no need to fear the end of the universe~

miss_bender:  in the future, some flags have auto-wave technology for that true-patriotism feel.  I mean, Kif can't be everywhere at once just waving flags behind people.

Flowah:  As I said once before to this argument, if you start with a few base cases (1+2), (6+9), etc... you can extrapolate the rest of the answers via a process called mathmatical induction.  This is most likely what the brains were doing.

In "Why Must I be a Crustacean in Love" it's revealed that Decapodians die after breeding, but in "A Taste of Freedom" Zoidberg has flashbacks of his mother constantly giving him guilt trips, but shouldn't she be dead when he was growing up?
