2 TBWABB Errors...

I've been on a roll lately, here we go:

When Fry announces Yivo's name, we see a cut to a NNY billboard with a Blimp next to it which says something like 'We Love Yivo', I can't remember exactly, but it definately says Yivo. How is it possible that the blimp could of put Yivo's name on it in less than 15 seconds...? Yeah the electronic sign on the blimp could of, but what about the banner?

And, when Bender kicks his Son out of the Robot Devil's 'office', we see his blue hat fly off as he comes towards the screen, but in the very next shot (which is like a split second cut) his hat is on and comes off again.

Spam? Delicious meaty Spam! Oh, wait. The other kind. I'm not spammin, Honestly, the future could be very quick with gettin information up and they already have "paper screens", so  a banner could be just like a screen. Set up a blank banner, and BAM! you have a new logo. Also, with the hat, other than a continuity error, the only other thing I could think of is a long thin spring, similar to a slinky. It could retrieve the hat for him and put it back on his head. Also, a Giraffe.

The blimp banner is actually kind of funny. The hat one is probably just a dumb mistake, like at the end of Wild Green Yonder when Bender's pink mask comes on and off about three times. (I think just once, actually. Not worth rewatching to find out, haha.)

Also, Fry could have purchased the banner and blimp before the announcement.  Or are you surprised too when a presidential candidate suddenly have banners and stickers to hand out JUST after they announce their presidency!  In fact, sometimes the podium contains their campaign logo.

Since this thread has been bumped, here's something else:

Why do Yivo's tentacles temporarily turn red? They are red when Fry smashes out of the apartment window and red when we see the shot of Planet Express, but that's it, after those scenes they turn pink/purple again...

Well he seems to be constantly happy and obsessed with love during the episode... Maybe it's Fry's mood that affects the colour?

The fourth wall is us the viewer. Like when a character looks at the screen and says something to the viewer. And sometimes they almost break the fourth wall.

Like in BBS: 'What does this mean for us and our many fans?'

She means us, the viewers, but in the show they are actual fans.

But since Leela's question is addressed to the Professor I don't think it counts, technically. A better example from BBS would be Bender himself when he looks toward the camera and says "…and I bet it's gonna get a lot more confusing."

Here's a non-Futurama example (6th panel) of breaking the fourth wall.

Futurama tends to often lean on the fourth wall, but I think the only time they've actually broken it is in BBS when Bender goes back in time to give Fry the tattoo and says "I'm Bender from way at the end."

I think he means 'way at the end' as in at the end of all the chaos, e.g. the scammers buying Earth, all the time travel, etc.

Nah, it's pretty obvious that he's referring to the movie. Referring to it in that context doesn't really make much sense.

They may only lean on the fourth wall in the show, but the comics just live in a world were the fourth wall is a hole into our universe. but also cause it makes a good read.
