Magnetic Bowtie

This must've been posted before... In 'A Flight to Remember' Bender's Bowtie is magnetic, so why isn't he malfunctioning and singing?

I have seen this posted before. Cohen on the commentary said it was the chin/neck area that wasn't susceptible to hisinhibition unit, but what makes more sense is that maybe there are areas of his body that are too closely connected to his inner workings that causes the malfunctions.

Here is a list of when I see magnets being used on him:

These DO NOT affect him:
*The magnetic bowtie
*The goatee when he pretends he's Flexo
*The banana magnetic inside his chest compartment (Cyber House Rules)

These DO affect him:
*Cheap tourist magnet on his head (The Series Has Landed)
*Super magnet used to carry him off the moon from his back
*The two powerful magnets used to pull him apart (A Tale of Two Santas)

So from this it seems like if it is a very powerfully strong magnet, or it touches the top of his head where his main processing units may be, then it affects him. But if it is in an area that doesn't seem to house a significant amount of wiring (like the inside of his chest door or chin) then it is okay.
