Up until "The Problem with Popplers" I'd always assumed Leela was her first name anyway.

Her introduction to the blernsball game was: Turanga, Leela. Its proffesional to put family name then first name, it sounded like there was an, in between TL. Thats how they put it professionally. Its definetly Leela as the first name.
