Just noticed that the spacesuits that the crew wears in Cold Warriors have their radio microphones outside their helmets.  That's going to make it a bit hard to communicate...

I always thought that was on purpose.

actually it might not b a goof because soundwaves can't travel through a vaccuum, but it must not be a vaccum with that much snow, it would have a lot of atmosphere so it culd work

Soundwaves propagate very poorly through a thin atmosphere, which is what they're in at best. Just because there's precipitation does not mean that there is any atmosphere to speak of.

Water ice sublimed from the surface would condense in thin clouds. These would then recrystallise as snowflakes. This is a mechanism that can occur in the absence of any atmospheric gases. It requires only a temperature gradient, as it is a function of the properties and phases of matter - not something that denotes an atmosphere.

In addition, please, for the love of Benjy, read this. Your disregard for the correct usage of quote tags, spelling, capitalisation, punctuation and science are somewhat painful to read through. Clicking the link and reading through the unofficial manual for PEEL will help. You'll learn how to fit into the community, and hopefully have a great time.

Making your posts readable is a large part of having a great time here.

If Bender has a self-destruct button on his body (A Head in the Polls), why does he go to use a Suicide Booth in Ghost in the Machines and a few other non-Season 6 eps? :hmpf:

I'm going to guess that it's the same reason he even tries to commit suicide in the first place despite his back-up unit (that he believe to be in working order at the time): because he's a drama-queen.

He's the sort of character to attempt suicide as a bid for attention rather than a genuine desire to die.

In "Benderama", the alien reveals his face and you hear Leela scream, but then it shows her staying still.

I didn't know the human body had to move when it screams... Unless it's part of being a mutant...

It's a little hard to explain what I saw. Watch the episode and you will see what I mean. It's right before Bender said: "Is that vanishing cream, cause that has to go away."

Plus in Mobius Dick, Bender puts the toilet paper roll over his eye, but it slides to the back. But Bender sees a circular shape, and his pupils are a square.

Square pupils doesn't mean square vision... :laff:

We've seen what Bender sees multiple times anyway...

Well, I admit I could be wrong. Still, why would he use the toilet paper roll if his vision was round? Oh well, guess we'll never no.

Not 100% on this, but when the PE ship flies above the ice in TFHS, the reflection is wrong. The side view is right, but when it flies past the screen and we see it go off in the distance, the reflection is the right way up when it should be upside down.

The Planet Express ship in Silence of The Clamps appears to have a thin front window, but form within the ship appears to be much wider.

I noticed in the Commentary track for "Yo Leela Leela" that they changed the name of the Preschool in the Toddler Wrestling skit from "Macho Man" Randy Savage (who passed on earlier this year) to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (who is alive... only dead on the inside).

I felt that way about That Darn Katz, at first.  It grew on me with repeated viewings.

I didn't like it at first either. But I'm always open to a second opinion, and so I got more laughs out of the second viewing. I would say 8/10

I thought that the way they spoofed all of the MEMEs was a little lame at first, but with second viewing I started to think that they pulled it off in a good way. I just didn't like the Cat's celebration with the dance. :(

They only really made reference to memes once in the episode with that "must has cat" poster that you see for maybe a second, if that. How could that possibly be enough to make you dislike an episode?

I didn't like the cat-can-can either, though.

So, in ATPH, if the Farnsworths became super rich after David Farnsworth assassinated George Washington, then why does Planet Express exist in the alternate future? Hubert created it to fund his research, but if he were a millionaire he obviously wouldn't need to.

In Cold Warriors the PE ship clearly approaches the big quarantine at a fast rate. Then when it looks like it's about to hit, it cuts over to Kif and Zapp. This lasts about 5 seconds, then the quarantine is blasted open, and they go through. The timing was unreal, however.

Futurama often does this. It's best to assume that Zapp orders Kif to shoot them at the same time the PE crew attempt to shoot through the thin plastic wrap.

The timing was unreal, however.

No I wasn't!  :p

Where did all of the money Fry and Bender made selling popplers go? We shall never know. The characters stay poor because that's the only way to keep the existing dynamic intact.

Maybe it was a hobby? Or he still thought it was worthwhile so that he'd essentially have a crew of people that could do his bidding whenever he needed them to?

There's been a bunch of small goofs, like characters randomly changing positions in the same scene, but different angles.

Can we post continuity in here too? Because I am.

I like how Fry acts really mean to his robot self in Rebirth, which I thought was a nice callback to BBS where he acts like a dick to his paradox. :D

I believe Matt has said that whenever a character meets itself (Either through a paradox or duplicate) They always act like they hate each other for no reason (This happens in the Simpsons as well)
