Has anybody read Heinlein's short story "All You Zombies"?  That episode reminded me of it.

Nope.
What's it about?
Sorry.  :)

Oh and while we're on the subject of Weird Scenes, from a Over The Top plane nut, did anyone else notice that the USAF Mustangs were the out-of-date P-51As?

 ;)
I'm quite an aircraft nerd sometimes.  :nono:

No.

I have listened to the Hoters' album "All You Zombies", though.

Well, it's kinda hard to explain, but I'll try...  So I don't spoil it for anybody that wants to read it, I'll use the spoiler tag.

People this inbred start to look like them.  :p

The bigger paradox though, is that the pregnant lady has been a woman all her time, and her baby (her new self) had the sex operation right at birth, whereas the pregnant lady had the sex change as an adult!

Time-traveling can do some serious shit considering that we constantly move in time in our conciousness.

Just look at the Back to the Future series - breaks the Temporal Prime Directive in more ways than I care to think.

We'd better send Dulmer and Lucsly to investigate then.

The story is told in first person.  One of the last lines is:
I know where I came from...but where did all you zombies come from???

That's why I hate those Star Trek episodes where they go back in time.  It depends on your theory of time how much you can screw it up, but they never seem to tie up the loose ends properly.

OTOH, I like a good time travel story.  Connie Willis's "To say nothing of the dog" is great, and Simon Hawke's "The Timewars" is pretty good.  But the the best is probably Robert Asprin's "Time Scout".
(Yea, I'm a SciFi junkie - I've got around 400 SciFi books...not to mention the 100 or so non-SciFi books)
