Leela's Homeword Mistake

As I was watching the Leela's Homeworld episode i noticed that leela's father has a vertical jaw....but when leela accused her parents of killing her parents her father's says "yes we killed them" and his jaw is sudenly normal...has anyone else noticed this???

It seems to me that whenever his mouth is closed it's horizontal and when he talks it's vertical. This is true even when he is out in the light and clearly visible. I think they did that on purpose.

Does "teeth clenched" mean mouth open, or closed?

Not sure. But one thing that has always bothered me is how can a vertically orientated mouth have an overbite?

This picture is much better for showing the goof. If it indeed be so.

Maybe Morris and Munda look "normal" under the shadow of their somehow special cloaks. Maybe this is all part of an insidious mutant subplot that will be revealed in movie 17.
