Bender's Big Score Time Questions

I don't know if there is a thread already of questions about the movie not concerning the para fauxes. If there is, please do point me to the correct one. But here I go:

Something is troubling me, can someone explain me why Fry's carreer chip makes him become a delivery boy and Lars carreer chip allows him to get a job as a Feeder/head technician? Shouldn't the machine assign them the same carreerpath after coming out the cryogenics chamber?

Lars basically delivers head jars and perhaps repaired bodies. During 5 years his duties probably were expanded.

On the note of preparing/repairing bodies and heads, Lars also had some background in biology (being an unofficial whale biologist of sorts in the 21st century); maybe his experiences in the past allowed him to be assigned a completely different occupation?

Alternatively, career chips mean jack in Futurama canon.

That last option seems the most likely considering how they only mention the chips when they need them for a plot point.

Telling how in "Cryonic Woman" Fry didn't even remember what they were or that he met Leela due to them.

But yeah, maybe since Lars had traveled and been on a ship he had more scope over what he could do.

Career chips?  What are those?  Also, the Career Chip Assignment computer probably took into account his experience as a marine mammal handler, which Fry Prime didn't have.

Alternatively, he just went to the Head Museum and proclaimed "I'm a whale biologist!" and got the job in spite of his chip.

Or alternatively alternatively, maybe like a lot of things in the Futurama future, the career assigning computer just doesn't work very well, and even faced with assigning a job to the same person twice, it gives different results.

Larsd worked with Wales in the past so when he was defrosted he probaly got a biologist career chip. He had gained maturity nd new skills in the past so he wouldn't've had the same career chip as 'Fry Prime'

We all know that if you put delivery boy and marine biologist into a box and shake it, you'll end up with head technician. It's the perfect blend.
