I was listening to the comments on Season 3 episode "I dated a robot" where fry is dating a Lucy Liu robot copy.

They show a information movie about why humans should not date robots, and it is brought to you by "Space Pope".

David X Cohen says; that the first time we hear about the space pope is in ep 109. That episode is "Hell is other robots". I watched that ep 2 times today looking for the space pope. I just cant find anything about him .

Anyone knows about "the space pope" and why i cant see it on ep 109. I even looked in the deleted scenes.
(I got the European DVD boxes) has the Futurama crew cut something or was mr Cohen wrong?  ;)

IIRC, It's from a line Bender says:

"Is the Space-Pope reptilian?"

EDIT:
Nope. I'm wrong.
According to "The Neutral Planet," it's from the opening caption.

Must be a glitch in the DVD production. Here is a screencap from the original broadcast.

Jupp thx Xanfor, well guess the mystery with the space pope on the European DVD might be unbrakeable to solve without the reason explained by the producers.  :)

Sure, i can do that.  Im new here on this forum, hope i will stay here for a long time. But as a response there, personally i have a hard time with "this is how it is spelled" or "we type with good grammar" quotes. Some of us might not be good with english, just as some are not good with "internet language". If you dont have a personal issue with my writing, if there is something i write, ask me what i mean . So please try and keep that kind of stuff to yourself, and keep this forum a Futurama forum not a spellcheck/english language knowledge forum.

Just so you know, the reason we employ that rule is because many of our members don not have English as their native language.  I don't want you to think that we do it just because we're very strict.  One thing you might want to check out is The PEELer's FAQ.  It should have what you need to know for things like rank, or various rules.

Hm, cant really find anything more about him. Just that he looks like a aligator with a pope outfit. Also he has alittle grin on. You can see him on the big TV screen in their office or louge in ep 315 I dated a robot.

El_Luxo: It's been cracked; and you're right.
If you're interested in such things, there are explanations of the first and the second alien alphabets at PEEL's buddy site The Futurama Point. There used to be an online translator, but alas the site has gone the way of the dodo.

Dont know about that. But i guess there are.
I dont think they would release diffrent boxes in the same "dvd region".
That would be useless.
The strange thing is mostly why? :S
