Oops in "The Problem With Poplers"

In the problem with poplers, when leela discovers that the poplers are intelligent, she gasps then licks her fingers. She only has four fingers, but you hear her lick five. By watching it frame by frame, you can verify that she only licks four fingers.

They probably recorded five in the studio, not being aware of the four finger rule, on account of them being human and all, but once again, good ears

I never would have caught that. You are good with catching the fine details. And I agree with Venus, when I first saw this I slightly remember Leela licking her thumb twice.

I just watched this episode, and sure enough, she only licks each finger once. I went over it frame by frame. But I also found something stranger. Go to the scene where Fry says "I wish they'd just wipe out humanity and get it over with. It's the waiting I can't stand." After this, Leela says "That's stupid." Pause the scene right there. Step foward frame by frame. First, Leela's pupil is pointing at Fry, with her eye narrowed. Then, everyone in the crowd hears the door to the negotiation open. Leela pupil moves upwards to look where everone else is looking, and then her eye blinks. But after she blinks, and as her eye is opening again, her pupil is pointing back at Fry! And then it moves up again! Animation quirk perhaps?

Maybe she just realized how cute he is when he's exasperated. But there's an even bigger continuity error regarding this episode remaining, and I'm genuinely suprised no one's pointed it out yet...

Maybe Im just too dumb to look out for stuff like that..

then again...I must say it did sound odd, like, the sound didnt exactly go with the animation, but it fitted just to let me watch it without any further thought.
