Ok, so I don't know how to spell his name, but, and this might have been discussed before, but, in ABBoG, he gives Farnsworth an A--. D'uh, even I know that -- gives a +. So Farnsworth actually got an A+.

and thats wrong, if it's an A-- that means that A- is in an average of A-+ and A--. A-+ is slightly better than A-, and A-- is slightly worse than A-.

Maybe yes, but as well maybe not ...
Who are we to know the system of grades in the 30th century?
Knowing that Fransworth is teaching "Mathematics Of Quantum Neutrino Fields", everything seems to be possible in the future ...

... even the simple fact that Fransworth was just angry/senile/weird and simply invented an A-- ... to "show it" Odgen Wernstrom.

The minuses weren't multiplied together, they were added together.  Add a negative to a negative and you get even more negative.
