While watching Anthology of Interest II, I was reminded of Q-bert (the video game character, not the Professor's clone child) who talked backward after he exited the space ship.
I decided to extract the sound and reverse it to hear what was said.  Of course I did this before checking on-line. Apparently other people had already done this. But all they did was tell us what was said ("Where can a guy get some pants around here?" ); no one seemed to supply the sound file so we could hear for ourselves.
So here they are, if you want to hear for yourself...

I probably did it the hard way, but...

I converted the episode from dvd to file using Nero Recode. Then extracted the audio with QuickTime Pro. Then reversed the audio file using Adobe Auditions.

Good work Kwyjibear.

I was wondering when someone might reverse that sound clip. I can't as my humble computer doesn't have the software.
Even if it did, the darn thing is as powerful as a rusty abacus...

In the off chance that no one has said so already, welcome to the world of a-social science-fiction geeks (otherwise known as Futurama fans or 'PEELers').
Either you'll enjoy it her, or have a psychotic episode.

Please fasten your seatbelt and keep your arms and legs in the car at all times, as the management accepts no responsibility for disfiguring injuries...

Nice spot, even though most of us have known about this for ages... I noticed the backwards talking & reversed it myself a few years ago - went to post about it here but did a search & saw people already knew... Not to mention the fact that the backwards talking is mentioned on the commentary of the episode itself.

Ironic that you look for them now. I just removed them yesterday. It had been 3 weeks since the last post on this topic and I thought everyone who had wanted to hear them had already listened.

I have restored them.  Enjoy.

to reverse things, you can play it on your computer and record it with the windows sound recorder then just reverse it. very simple.

I noticed that about Q-Bert myself.  Was that backwards English he was talking I wonder.
