Do you have a frame grab of this?

I find it hard to believe considering "Marge Be Not Proud" aired in December 1995, several years before Futurama was conceptualized.

Welcome to PEEL. Enjoy it here.

Well, if I do see it, I'll state it, and probably others will as well.

As Teral said, Welcome to PEEL. There are a few rules and guidelines here (such as not double/triple posting - there is an edit button) as listed in the PEELer's FAQ.

Have "fun". Yeah, I finally got to welcome someone! wooo!

Horrible Gelatinous Blob looks very similar to the "Space Mutants" used in the early Simpsons episodes (and in one of the original shorts on the "Tracy Ullman Show", when Bart, Lisa, and Maggie go to see one of the Space Mutant movies.  Look to the first season episode "The Telltale Head" for another early appearance).  So it wasn't the Blob, just a Space Mutant toy that has always been in the design for Bart's room.

Im guessing the idea for "Amazon women in the mood" came from the simpsons episode when Homer was screaming and they figured out it was Smither's father's skeleton on homers lap that caused him to scream. Burns said he told smithers his father died from a pack of "wild amazon women" or something like that. Couldve been the other way around too.

"The Blunder Years" aired in December 2001, "Amazon Women In The Mood" aired in February 2001. Although it aired in December TBY was actually part of the CABF production (season 12), meaning both episodes were actually produced simultaneously.

Or maybe they booth were inspired by the Greek legend of an all-female tribe of fierce warriors called the Amazons, some of which aided the city of Troy in their war against the greek invaders.

If you looks closer, that robot toy up there has similar arms to Bender. Although, certainly it's easier to tell the difference between some green Robot who wears over-sized soccer shoes and the loveable rascal Bender...

Ebotron may be refering to the picture Homer drew in his bed, that also had a robot that looked nothing like Bender in:

edit: come to think of it, I think we might of actually seen that robot, or a similar one, on "Futurama"...

Here's a few more shots;

HGB/Space Mutant can be seen on this one.

Can't see any robots ...

Another angle, alien can be seen but no Bender.

Is it just me or does that robot on the shelf look like the doctor in Insane in the Mainframe? Perhaps I'm just blind.

Does anyone know which ep. where we first meet crushinator??  I saw it in germany so i didnt understand anything but i think it was in season 1.  (also, in a later comic, (ie. freaky fry day) bender also meets crushinator and "junior"(the fruit of his "software"  :)).
Anyway, i know this doesnt pertain to this thread, but it kind of seemed a waste to start a whole new thread.

The first time I saw crushinator was in episode 2ACV08 'Raging Bender' where Bender becomes a professional wrestler after winning a fight against "The Masked Unit" in a movie theater. But that was in season 2 I don't remember seeing him in season 1, but I could be wrong as I have'nt seen any of the season 1 episodes in a long time, but I did order the futurama boxsets a couple of days ago, when they turn up I'll check to see if he's in any of the ealier episodes.

Actually, didn't Bender deny the accusations of sleeping with the Crushinator? "A woman that fine you have to date first". Unless, gullable me has just interpreted another joke incorrectly.

Just wondering, how many appearances did the Crushinator actually make?

I seem to recall Crushinator appeared in three four episodes:

The Series Has Landed,
Mother's Day,
Lesser of Two Evils
Crimes of the Hot (for a moment at least)

There could be more, but those are the ones I remember.

Edited 'cuz I forgot one...   :(

Maybe we should do what Homer Simpsons does and add "in case you can't tell I was being sarcastic" at the end of the sentance, even if it's really obvious.

Sarcasm: A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.

Edit: Or were you being sarcastic there?
