Excuse me,
But if the planet in War is the H-Word is destroyed, why it didn't affect Planet Express and Bender? Simple; I gave them 125W Shields.

Other opponions o this question? So, please verify your command.

What is a 125W Shield?

Obviously the bomb wasn't no where near as powerful as we were lead to believe. Probably have something to do with Brannigan being the one responsible for the implementation. He probably only installed the detonator charge and forgot to add the warhead because his mind was pre-occupied with Lee Lemon. Benders casing was able to contain the energy.

Teral, a 125W Shield is the strongest of all shield types. Now, allow me to demonstrate the destructive effects of the Annihilator bomb. *drops it aon a Xenon J*

What shields are you talking about?  Star Trek shields?  Videogame shields?  Psychic shields?  Panty shields?

My theory...the Prof managed to get most of the explosive out, even if he couldn't remove the bomb itself.  Perhaps they got the main body of explosive out, but had to leave the smaller explosive charge in the detonator.

I'd go with the "Zapp Brannigan Special" explanation.  Zapp was involved in planting the bomb, so naturally it was a complete cock up, as the British say.

Perhaps the Planet of the Balls atmosphere is not as inert as Earth's, like a lower level of nitrogen-to-oxygen mix.

Hmm. If the enemy the humans faced were Xenon Robots, this might be more approtiate.

You can't really prove that,  Because it does'nt really exist its just some bomb from a Cartoon

Relax, Zogonif.  X-Periment just likes to talk about his super-strong panty shields.  I don't think he realizes that Bender's shiny metal ass already has titanium-berylium shielding built in.

You guys totally missed the satire of the thing.

The bomb represents the Nazis, and the planet express building represented Polland. And you all know when there's satire it doesn't need to make sense. Right? ... Right?

Or, maybe, the Professor knew Bender would go to such extreme lengths to find out the word. He was unable to remove the bomb, but he never said he was unable to difuse the bomb. We never see the explosion, it was probably just Zoidberg or Fry trying out the new surround speakers while watching "Die Hard # 89 : McClane vs. The Breast Monsters from Jupiter". Or even more likely, the entire episode was just a dream Bender had when he was getting an upgrade to fight in the army...

There was a thread like this before, and I remember we reached the ultimate conclusion that the bomb was a dud. Makes sense, considering it belonged to Zapp Brannigan.

I wanna see that!

Wait, are we talking about bumped 19 year olds?  Or threads?

I have a few of the former saved to my favorites.

edit:  There's an error in this thread's title, unless that was on purpose. If so, I see what you did there.
