In the first xmas episode (on several times this weeks on Adult Swim), the professor says the friendly robot company created the robotic santa in the early 2800s.

In 'A Clone of My Own', you find out the professor is 160 years old.

However, in 'Mother's Day' you find out that he created the first robot as a teenager. As well as in 'Crimes of the Hot', it furtherproves that he created the first robot.

Now, how could the santa have been created 200 years ago if the first robot wasn't created at the earliest 2850-2860?

No, he didn't invent the first robot, however he may be the one who revolutionized them.

He build his first robot as a teenager, and then worked for mom's friendly robot company, which probably already existed before.

Also remember that Calculon is nearly 1000 years old, since he helped building Project Satan in the 21th century.

He's around 160, or after "Teenage Mutant Leela hurdles" even a bit older.

I remember in Mother's Day he said something about Mom stealing his things. So Mom's robot company was pretty much created by him.

Also, Calculon said that he was simply a robotic arm. So he originally wasn't a robot, just a really complicated AI.

As an employee in Mom's Friendly Robot Company anything he created during his workhours is the intillectual property of MomCorp. Farnsworth may call it theft, but it's simple, common business practice.

There were robots around before Farnsworth's time, but they were slow moving, stiff and a little on the uptight side. He just created a new version, one which all moderne robots is based on.

Calculon was a robot to begin with, just not an android. Robots are any mechanical devices capable of carrying out often complex human action, either by command or through a program. Modern car factories are filled with robots. Comes from the Czech word robota, and was coined by Karel Capek's  play "R.U.R." (Rossum's Universal Robots).

Also what germanfryfan said about "Clone Of My Own" only mentioning Farnsowrth created his first robot as a teen, indicating he was a wunderkind.

I think his robots were the first ones to be powered by an alcohol burning fuel cell.  He also built the first robot smart enough to qualify for a boat loan.

Yes, they had to be the first alcohol ones, since he admitted it was him who made the green-house gasses.
