Here's a production drawing of Peace in which I can see the resemblence to Bender:

I think the only thing that looks like Bender is the Antenna.

It looks slightly similar... I'll give you that.  I still think it may be more of a coincidence if anything though.

I don't find any resemblence... that type of antenna is used alot in sci-fi.

The lack of a neck. The top of the head. The eye area sunken in (although on Bender it's more the visor sticking out around it. His eyes aren't sunken in, but you get my point).

I see it. But I agree with Winna, definitely not used as an inspiration or anything.

They look really simalir... the eye slot for bender and the antenna, maybe the head, but the rest of the body no...

The head might have been inspiration for Bender, but the resemblance isn't that obvious.

I remember this movie with clarity. It was good, but it seemed to be really ripping off LOTR a lot. Except with swearing and glood shed and violence. It was kind of disgusting how casually death was treated in that movie. It also had some Neo Nazi undertones.

I remember that guy, I can honestly say it isn't a bender look alike. All that is similiar is the antennae  as previously stated

There are a limited amount of ways that you can draw an antenna...

That's not really surprising, considering that after making Wizards the next film that Bakshi made was an animated adaptation of The Lord of the Rings.

I think that was kinda the point.

Those weren't undertones.  The whole movie was about an evil wizard using Nazi ideology to conquer the world.

I didn't mean the obvious stuff that was plot oriented, I meant the little things he put in here and there. Like the star of david marked on the pig's hind quarters.
