How come Leela doesn't try to protest Lrrr from eating her in "the Problem with Popplers" by saying she's an alien? Come to think the only post-1ACV eps. that mention that Leela is supposedly an alien are "A Biclyops built for 2", "Anthology of Interest 2" and "Leela's Homeworld". You see, tPw/Ps was the first Futurama episode I saw all the way through, and I assumed Leela to human ever since.

I don't think the Omicronians would have cared much whether or not she was human. The point is that she was the first to start eating their young. Not to mention they'd probably get a kick out of eating a live human in front of a live audience anyway.

A human with one big eye?

Anyway, Lrrr wouldn't have cared what species she is. He was going to make an example out of her because she was the first to eat the Popplers, which caused the Earth to begin eating them.

If she'd tried to protest against being eaten because of her species, it would be like that time jerkberg tried to justify his three threads in an hour with "sorry but i am british".

I don't think Lrrr is very bright to begin with. A human with one eye probably doesn't shake him as out of the ordinary.

Also, JP, she aludes to it in Fear of a Bot Planet. That's all I can remember for now.

Well, it's just how often does the question of species pop up in everyday conversation? How often, on average, do you mnetion your nationality when talking to other Americans?

And I have already answered it (a few hours ago) with information about what you need to do (give me the fanart).

Meanwhile, back at the topic...

Lrrr also had some trouble figuring out that an orangutan with an eyepatch wasn't Leela, thus confirming his "they all look alike to me" disdain for Earthicans.

(When I saw the topic "something about Leela", I half-expected the thread to be something like "Poll:  did you ever notice she has only one eye?  Yes...no....)

Haha....

I assume that in the future, no one really cares what humanoid race you're a part of.  There are many different types of aliens living on Earth, so it's not like she would be singled out as a "foreigner."  Besides, there are probably numerous other humans with physical abnormalities living on Earth, whether they be mutants, surgery disasters, or inbreeding.  A one-eyed person probably isn't as big a deal.

As we've learned in AToF, an 'Earthican' refers to anyone who lives on Earth, not someone who was born on Earth.

That was When Aliens Attack. Leela was a man in War is the H-Word. Although Zap was equally attracted to him-eh-her as well.
