this isn't really weird but you know that spanish robot in raging bender. he says he's not from this country (america) look at my crazy passport.
why is his passport stange if he was made on earth. in fact earth probably wouldn't need passports in 3000. say if you were flying to america to scotland you wouldn't need a passport in the year 3000 i think.
in not one of the futurama episodes do we see fry or leela or bender show a passport

Earth might not contain sovereign nations anymore, but the galaxy does. Assume that passports are still used for intersteller travel.

You'd stil need a passport while travelling to other planets. The reason we never see it is because it makes for bad comedy. Since the Foreigner's passport wasn't made in America it would look crazy.

Besides we don't know if the Foreigner was made on Earth or not.

The style would be the same but the national seal and such would be different.  It is just what they do in wrestling like the Iron Sheik.
