Does anyone remember which episode had the deleted scene with Fry and Bender playing Binary Hangman? For the life of me I can't remember and I'd like to get a screen capture of it for some reference material for a pic I'll be drawing.

Wasn't that Kif gets Knocked Up a Notch, right before Amy comes in on her party board at the beginning?

Hey thanks dude!  That's the one.  For some unknown reason I had it in my head that it was Jurassic Bark (not sure why)   ;)

EDIT: I just converted the binary to decimal hoping that there was a hidden message but alas I couldn't find one   It was 10100100 which is 164 in decimal and a really weird looking symbol  if you look at the ascii character chart.

You converted the binary into number form, not words. I found a binary translator online. When translated, it is this: ¤

I don't understand what it means.

That's what I got too. I converted it into decimal and looked up what the character value is (looking at vb's help files and finding out what chr(164) meant) and that's what I came up with.

I don't think it's supposed to mean anything. The joke is just about the whole idea of hangman with only two possible symbols, plus the fact that Fry seems to have made about 8 incorrect guesses.

the noose and geist are always there... he made 6 incorrect guesses:
head, arm, body, leg, leg, foot.

Depends on which version you play. Some versions start with the noose and geist, others don't.

Isn't that a deleted scene that was on the DVD?

I don't even know what that character's purpose is, really...  All sorts of weird junk on the character map.  The whole concept of that scene was pretty funny though.

It's best not to do any extended binary posts like that, as the thread usually falls apart into post after post of binary, with no other purpose.  That, and it streches the thread.

The word/number is: 10100100

The joke being that Fry have made 6 wrong guesses, eeven though there are only two possible options: 1 and 0
