In Spacepilot 3000, after Bender bends the bars so he and Fry can run away from Leela, his arms fall off. When he picks them back up, we see the left arm pick up the right and then reattach it, but then we see the right arm pick up the left and reattach it. How is that possible?? The right arm would have had to be floating in order to pick up the left. *Confused*

As shown in ISTE, Bender's arms can lead a semi-independent life of their own. I'm also waiting for Nixorbo's "Joke" definition to appear.

And that was the funny part of the scene.

Let me answer this through the magic of parody.

Jicannon: In episode 1ACV01, after Bender bends the bars so he and Fry can run away from Leela, his arms fall off. When he picks them back up, we see the left arm pick up the right and then reattach it, but then we see the right arm pick up the left and reattach it. I mean, what are we to believe, that these are some sort of [chuckles] magic arms or something?  Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
Homer: I'll field that one.  Let me ask you a question. Why would a man whose shirt says "Genius at Work" spend all of his time watching a cartoon show?
Jicannon: [embarrassed pause] I withdraw my question. [starts eating a candy bar]

It was a short gag they did. It was completley intentional and this really doesn't have to be looked into.

Yeah, that's the whole joke. Fry even says "I don't know how you did that!" straight afterwards. If THAT doesn't let you know it was intentional, I don't know what does...

The only thing that unintentionally doesn't make sense in that scene is the bars that magically reappear (after Bender tore them out) in a shot or two.  Dunno if anyone ever noticed that.

But the Fry "I don't know how you did that" obviously alludes to that having been the joke.

ok...yeah...got it guys

I thought the "I don't know how you did that" was referring to Bender's ripping the bars out.
