Melbourne is the Perfect Geek City. Or so I hear. And I reckon it would be better to do during the summer. Its cold enough in Brisbane as it is, I dont wanna go somehere colder, and since melbourne is Milder It'll be better during the summer. Since in brisbane it'll be Unbearably Hot. Plus it means at least some Time spent travelling in an Air conditioned Environment  <IMG SRC="http://peel.gotfuturama.com/ubb/biggrin.gif">

I'd probably need a fair bit of time to arrange the whole thing anyway, so later is good.

Well anyway... there's no possibility of me coming before September, um, since I won't be in Australia till then.
I suggest a Melbourne meet up on the last weekend of October.
(And Glen the virgin blue flights are pretty reasonable ya know )
If anyone would prefer the weekend before or after or whatever, just let me know.
That gives everyone plenty of time to sort stuff out.
And, there's plenty to do in Melbourne - we'll arrange some cool stuff for that weekend.
