I updated the Wiki page for the PEELies to include this year's results as a table and added this year's winners to the running total at the bottom of the page.

Well, I'm so underrated that I came in last in the most underrated PEELer category, but that's OK. I won one for best thread title last time around, and that's still one more than Xanfor has. That bastard.

Damn, I knew forgetting to vote was going to come back and bite me in the ass.   

At least I'm a bigger Futurama nerd than the average PEELer ... wait it's supposed to be a compliment, right? ... right? Kinda surprised I did so well in the Older PEELer category, that was some really frightening competition.

Anyways, congrats to all who won and a thank you to the Council. I know exactly how much work goes into these awards, so good work.

A few items of note

1 - If tnuk won Master Debator and I tied with Archie for second place on this predominantly liberal board... that's quite an advertisement for our argumentation skills.

2 - What controversies did we have this year anyhow? Aside from the Yardstick fiasco. There were only a few little one-day tiffs here and there regarding immigration, poor people, etc.

3 - I won Best sig, tied for second in Debator, and placed in Best Peeler Pic (barely pushing Nix into dead last in that category). A good showing for me, considering how little I post these days. Thanks, folks!

4 - I think it's funny that the 2 categories that the fewest people bothered to vote in were Fant Art and Fan Fic.

I'd also like to point out that [=mArc-] and myself are currently in a tie for the largest number of these little trophies.

It is funny, but I saw that comming. No one really bothers to go in there beside to the few quality threads there are. Not even the mods take a step in there, beside that the only mod that did seems to have gone again. Or did anyone see Kryten lately?

I don't know if I still have the file on my other computer. If so I have to see if I can modell something. People with 3d generators like RS2thou and others may be able to deliver better quality however.

It's been officially set in stone trophy now as DrJunk. Muahuahhua! The PEELie awards have inscribed it so!

I thought I would've had more of an impact with the Lifetime achievement award, to tell you the truth. Oh well, maybe next year after I celebrate my 7th Peeliversary! Scary!

Okay, it's getting old now. I haven't been on the computer very much lately (work is a bitch) so Nasty Pasty says to me, "You better check out the PEELies. You won Oldest PEELer."  I was indeed shocked and pleased. Then he says, "It wasn't even me or RabidPxy cos we both forgot to vote."  That made it even sweeter.
