Newark people: You can get from the terminals to station P4, where the bus is, via the free monorail.  Which is only free if you don't take it to the train station and get on a train.

It's called the Airtrain, and you get on it by following the signs posted all over the airport with an alarming drawing of a plane crashing into some railroad tracks.

Crap, I just emailed you back before I saw that post.  I'm still not sure what 7-2=3 means though.

Given the 16 minute estimate given by GoogleMaps for a Newark to Jersey City jaunt, I give myself a fairly good chance of arriving at the hotel between 4:45 and 5:00 (I don't remember what I told you, VF).  Of course I don't know how bad rush hour traffic is when travelling away from Newark, but if it takes longer than 30 minutes to go 10 miles, I'm screwed no matter what conveyance I use.

I'll give Carmine's a call today, but I don't think we can make reservations until the day of. I'll call to find out, and if by some chance I can, how many should I put us down for?  I have a rough estimate of about 16, but I'd like someone else's opinion on this.

It's a 'family' restaurant, no dress code that I know of. I've worn jeans and a t-shirt there.

If my friend pulls through, He will probably bring his own bass, but will need an amp.
I don't want to say who he is just yet, but his brother is very well known.

I have  not yet confirmed.  I will chat IM-wise with Either Nix or TMC to map out my travel plan, then I have to buy train tickets and study the maps that will guide me to the hotel.  By wednsday I should have everything 'all up in check.'

Well, I won't know until Monday if he can even make it or not. In the meantime, him and I are cooking up plans for our own band reunion upstate come Thanksgiving or there abouts.
I think I can forgive you for not making this momentous occaision. This whole deal may fully bring me out of retirement. It's gonna be a real blast jamming with Melll and Nasty with or without a bass player.

- I've just found out that if me (and by extension) Archie arrive in Ramada and try and make good of the rooms we actually booked, then we'll be turned away. Because below 21 is not old enough and it applies to Brits it seems as well. Right, so, as it stands, we are both FUCKED.
Sammy, I'm sorry to ask this - but how old are you? If you're 21, you can have my room (I'm hopeing) and we'll have to share and Archie will have to share with Melll or vise versa - as it stands, we'll only be able to go if we share with an "adult". Any other offers?

Haven't JBERGES and I been saying this since the beginning? You can book a room no matter how old you are, but you cannot sign in.  You guys can stay in the room alone as long as you can get someone over 21 to pretend they're staying with you. Which is why I'm looking sweetly in the direction of TMC, Fishy, Dr. T... basically anyone over 21 who didn't book a room themselves.

Okay here's the deal.  Should I try to get to Nixorbo's house on the 17th?  What time would we be leaving to NY?  I'm not good at driving in the city so the only way I would be able to go this year is to meet up there and then squish in VFs car again mebbe.  I saved up a lot of money and I really want to go. =(
