The problem was that you didn't link to the picture, but to the whole webpage (.htm file)

Click on the pictures properties and copy it's url, next time.     
take several weeks and months though.

The Pickelhaube was Ben's idea, if I remember correctly. I did the moustache when I was pretending to be JBERGES. Rage cheered us on at every opportunity. SlackJaw and a deleted scene were responsible for the original naked-Farnsworth-in-a-Beetle-wig avatar idea. GFF made the original, and Kyle M made the current version. Collaborative, yo. Just, you know, to give credit where it's due.

You were in the last list to be uploaded, it's already done.
Click on profile at the top of the page, put in your password, and select your custom avatar.
It will be named "Custom" at the very top of the list.

It was there before, i put the URL in manually, now it seems to be a 1x1 pixel thing... Oh well, better luck next time.
