Hmmm, so we may have a MoH that might beat the 4 years old Allied Assault?

I did several more things interesting today on SWG, I advanced the last skill of the Marksman pistol skills (70000 exp, that was a climb!) I discovered that Medics have to make there own Stimpacks and HAM wound repair packs and I finally located that damn Mos Entha Speeder Race Track. Though I never beat it, I was 50 seconds behind the last player. Anywho, here's some screenies of one of the hundreds of Point's of Interests in SWG. This is the Larr's Homestead. Or was. This was once the courtyard of the underground homestead, now filled with sand due to the many sandstorms Tatooine has. I think there are the gravestones of Owen, Beru, Shimi, Shimi's husband (Forgot his name) his first wife and his brother who was killed in a landspeeder accident. This is the entrance to the Homestead, now scorched by the fire the Stormtroopers left behind (Or blown up by Beru is you watched Troopers). Now, SWG has some pretty good POI and some pretty bad. I rate this one 1-7, it could have been a lot better. For example, I never knew those were graves until I looked it up. There should be more fire damage, debris and a few broken moisture vapours and droids. Oh, and realisticly who'd bury Owen and Larrs? they're in the middle of the freaking Dune Sea! it'd be cooler to see there half burried charred Skeletons in the sand. Oh, and this last screenie is very good. A Podracer, but if you look closer half of it has items from other things skillfully attached to it. Still, I loved this and thought this should have been a POI. It's located near Beggar's Canyon where the Mos Entha Swooper track is.

Rage: I know it's the future but I can't imagine some stranger stopping off at this farm in the middle of nowhere and burying two charred skeletons.
As for the Gravestones, wound you know what they where?

Nah, I think Luke left after seeing the Homestead burn. The Imps may have left something behind anyway. There's also a burnt out Sandcrawler near Mos Eisley.

The Sandstorm's randomly happen, the planets each have different weather patterns. As for the burrying of corpses, you may be right but I still think the graves are generic. Anywho, a tour around my little homestead in SWG. I live in a Village SE of Mos Eisley so I'm never far from the action. All objects are mine and have been placed where I wish them to be placed. Have a glance around for my weapons rack. A data terminal, for all my PEELing and pornographic needs. Ever see a Speederbike do this?: http://img97.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img97&image=screenShot0096.jpg

Coilette and CK: why would there be a WHQL thingy for DirectX 9.0c? It's Microsoft software! The directx 9.0c installer file I downloaded was about 33.4 MB's, I believe I got it from here. Although I did install it fresh with a slipstreamed XP & SP2 install...

Knight: it is the same as all WHQL messages, except there is no 'continue anyway button'. After I select 'stop installation' it comes up with a message saying 'this game requires 9.0c and will not be installed' I'm trying out the link Faze suggested *crosses fingers* I pre-ordered a copy of Everquest 2 last night, this game looks like much fun

Ah another person who was succumbed to the Sims 2. Whenever I begin playing that game, I seem to always end up only noticing the time hours later.

I'll admit to being a closet Sims 2 player as well. Because, uh, I like building and stuff. Manly stuff like that. Yeah. However, I've refused to play the game for a couple of weeks now due to the infamous (or maybe not) "Jumping Bug". That's the one where your characters "jump" out of interactions, and is theorised to be caused by overflowing the memory count (which has apparently been set as an unsigned byte). So until Maxis produce the patch to fix this, my Sims will remain in limbo. BTW, glad to hear Coilette fixed her problem. Sounds like a corrupted DirectX installation to me (sometimes I get fed up of Microsoft "integrating" stuff into their OS, like TCP/IP, DirectX, etc).
