Well I say sincerely with 100% truthfulness that I did not cheat to win PotM because well I'm not that sad.

My guess is that just more people bothered to use their vote because it might actually mean something. Or because everyone hates Marge so votes for me just to spite her.

I second all the sadness comments.  Except that, the first person to hint at cheating was Margy herself who pointed out that while anyone else (except her and her numerous chatroom buddies) was online, Archie was getting votes.  Make of that what you will.

Well done Archie, 26 legit votes is amazing, here's to next month.

Margy, congrats for winning, here's hoping the fine tradition of POTM's is continued.  Meanwhile, here's the keys to the executive washroom.

Ok, now that I'm in Drippy's (both of them) bad books... I'm gonna firstly ask... why do you care to flame Marg and her "group" so much? Surely you have something better to do with your time than be a geek and flame people you probably won't ever meet. And secondly Margy is only 15... and how old are you??? kind of pathetic isn't it.

And in defence of Marg's "group", we are what people call... "friends". And we can see you're being a real moron about things and being a total jerk towards Marg. Anyone that decides to speak up is instantly black listed by you, because you're too precocious, pompus and condescending to even glimpse the possibility that you're in the wrong. The ability to consider the possibility you're wrong, and could be offending or hurting people is what makes you an adult, rather than a selfish brat. In which case, Marg is already more mature than you... although you could change all that with one word, and reconcile your differences and turn over a new page.

I say lets drop this subject.

Whether anyone has cheated, to me, cannot be drawn from anything here as there is too little evidence presented to back up any conclusion without a massive assumption being made.

Plus to then get into an arguement about it is not worth one pixels used to display it.

Just this:
PEEL has over 2500 registered Members. Several hundred never posted anything here, some of these accounts are "secondary" accounts, however, claiming that somebody must have cheated just because this month there are 20 votes more than usual is ridiculous. Especially since most voters revealed whom they voted for, and most of them do post at PEEL on a regular basis.

And now, chill everyone. It is just a popularity contest.

I have to admit, I also suspected cheating. There were a lot of votes in very little time, and let's face it...who the hell likes Marg and Archie? Everyone SHOULD be voting for Jeremy.

But, I didn't care enough to post about it. Don't make such a big deal out of things, Drippy. So what if someone cheated? If they're so sad that they have to spend all their time cheating on a crappy little poll on the internet, then more power to them. Congratulations, winner!
