Stop not voting for me!!

Well since *confession time* I voted for myself in the past two polls, I vote for Ricky. Wait he isn't in the list 

My other option was MelBee who also isn't in the list 

LittleMiss is cool yeah, but hotness shouldn't count to Poster of the Month. For me it's a straight choice between Melllvar and aslate, and since it seems neither will win  , I abstain for a while.

Ricky got six.  Of the people who got five votes, the first two to reach that total were Aleel and PCCFred.  SO Margy's out and Ricky's in.

Archie posted this yesterday, the task of wading through the spam in difficult enough as it is, and those willing to complain should perhaps count up the votes themselves, next time.

Now:

Addie: I thank you. That's one I owe you.

If all those abstaining voted for anyone in the poll, they could change the course of this and make anyone the winner.  So vote.

I'm holding onto mine for now main because I haven't decided who to vote for:

Nurdbot: I’d vote for him, but only to shut him up.

Archie2k: Although I’m biased, coz he’s a mate, he still deserves it because he contributes so much.  Plus, I’m sure there are very few female PEELers here that he hasn’t hit on.  That kind of record should be rewarded in my book.

LittleMiss: Whether she’s a postwhore or not is largely irrelevent (and I don’t think that some people are qualified to make that judgement), she’s stuck around and contributed to discussion on various topics as well as submitting art.  A lively addition to PEEL, just what we want in a newbie.

Nixorbo: Someone once told me that Moderators should not be on POTM, because being Moderator is status enough.  The jury’s out on whether I agree with that.

M5438: Should be a front-runner as he contributes intelligent additions to various topics, and is a blast in the chatroom, although I miss his and Speli’s comedy partnership.  If he doesn’t win this month, then soon after.

Aslate: Again, same as above, plus he’s helped people out with webstuff and me with avatars.

Aleel: She’s always been nice, and a good contributor.  I can’t think of a reason why not.

Margarita:  See Nurdbot.

PCCFred: For the F1 thread alone, I’d vote for him.

Which leaves me, I typed this post, so vote for me.

He did get six there is always a mistake in these polls alas. It is hard to count them when too many people post things other than they three nominations in the thread.

Based on the above, scrap this thread and start again, so Ricky who got 6 and everyone who is in the top bracket including those on equal 5 get a look in.  They are technically Top 10 people as they are joint equal 9th or 10th

It also add weight to my theory what's the use of POTM, if it can't be done right in the first place.

Firstly, by way of a compromise, I suggest that Ricky gets a place on the final ten next month (by default).  If it was me, I'd be mildly miffed at not being included.

Secondly, do I stutter, or what?

If so, I'll repeat.  PCCFred and Aleel were the first two posters in the final ten to reach their total of five, and it's already agreed that that is the criteria for inclusion in the final ten.  So as I said, Margy's place should have been taken by Ricky, who got one more vote.

However, it's not like it matters. 

If people are willing to kick up a fuss over this, then great, well volunteered to oversee the process next month, you have my full support, because myself and Aslate suggested and debated POTM rules and then everyone ignored them.

Already come up with an idea, scrap the early rule.  Anyone who had scored 5 this month, wouldn't have made the final poll, as it crossed over the 10 limit, this idea may mean smaller polls, but it takes some of the unfairness away. 

I'm not kicking a fuss persee, I just want to see fair play for all.

I agree.  Whatever's fair.

That sounds fine by me, however, I'd instigate it from next month.

I'd just like to say that LesbianLeela has my complete sympathy because she was willing to count up the nominations in a spam-filled thread, as I did the time I messed it up (that time at the expense of PCCFred - which I still owe him a pint for), which is why the POTM Rules were debated in the first place.

This poll should stick, and Nurdbot can have his tainted victory.

No problem with me at all, just on a tear after a rough day at work, and needed to let off steam.  Unfair play on something *Fun* just tipped me over the edge.

Also I would also like to say to LesbianLeela: I'm certainly not picking on you either. We've tried debating rules before and one that came to mind was 3 separate people count up the results then compare and contrast. Trouble is, then who makes the poll? It's all a mess.

Plus this is all just a bit of fun.
