I feel like I say this every month, but here goes again...

The nomination thread is open usually within ~12 hours of the first of every month, (PST if I am the one opening it). That process carries on for 5 days, and then the poll opens near the start of the 6th day of the month. The poll carries on for 5 days until completion, when all votes are revealed, which would put it near the start of the 11th.
