Well, not anyone...you must choose from the list above. DO IT AND DO IT NOW! (BTW, 17 different nominees, 10 with more than one nomination).

A vote for Danny is a vote for twitter
On the day that Danny merges with twitter, perhaps. Until then, it's just a vote for Danny. Personally, I think that TMC deserves the win this month. I may or may not be casting my vote in that direction, but I think that the rest of you certainly ought to. It's a good idea to give POTMs to newer posters who show promise rather than giving them to the same 5 people.
Whilst this is a good point, it honestly makes me wonder if this doesn't inspire people to work as hard to achieve a certain standard in order to reach the heights of awesome occupied by those five people. That said, it definitely acts as a reward to the people who earn it by being new and showing promise. With that said, I don't think it's a good idea to ignore established posters like TMC when they deserve a win. Newer posters have plenty of time to impress people, and will win when they deserve it - if they don't deserve it and are given POTM simply as an encouragement, this devalues POTM and diminishes the achievements of all who have gone before as winners. Then again, this contest is entirely meaningless. I can't help but feel that perhaps it doesn't matter, and on that basis I should refrain from voting entirely.

Heh, I find it amusing that this sentiment comes on the heels of a month where someone won POTM for the fourth time. Seriously, though, I agree with coffeeBot that newer posters--or, at the very least, those more established members who have never won this, uh, highly prestigious award in the past--probably deserve POTM more than those who have already been honored one or more times. With that in mind, I voted for boasel. He's always such a cheery chap that I cannot help but be charmed when I read his posts. And seeing as how my default response to most things I read on PEEL is to cringe or to criticize, such posts are a welcome change of pace.

Randi and Cappy have done tremendous moderator work for far too little recognition and appreciation. That said, I'm voting for the Peeler with the cute owls and interesting and insightful comments

THAT'S IT, Gorky is boasel's Daisy. Of course, Tedward isn't exactly Tom Buchanan-like... That is, he's not a gigantic d-bag.Heh, I find it amusing that this sentiment comes on the heels of a month where someone won POTM for the fourth time.
Haha, yes. This is not lost on me. I voted for Kmmy last time, too...Whilst this is a good point, it honestly makes me wonder if this doesn't inspire people to work as hard to achieve a certain standard in order to reach the heights of awesome occupied by those five people. That said, it definitely acts as a reward to the people who earn it by being new and showing promise. Well, as much as I'd like to encourage this, I feel like there are certain newbs who are definitely showing promise. That, and POTM gets more boring than anything else when the same people keep winning. I still love Kmmy, though.

OH DO YOU.. Ha, Yuss, perchance you do, and it is mutual ^.^, (a mutual fund), and yuss also you did nom and vote fur me too.. Irony perhaps noted, intweed, but still appreciated nonetheless.. Heh, I find it amusing that this sentiment comes on the heels of a month where someone won POTM for the fourth time. 'Someone' sure did! (Hey, I'm the first to say that it muses and amuses and amazes me that 11 people suddenly votered for me last time, when I hardly ever got nommed much for a longish time before that and only procured 2 votings the previous month when I scraped on the poll, {even though I hedge I'm pretty consistent every month}, but them's the cold stark facts I guess) It just always depends on the flow and the Zeitgeist at any given time. Plus if anything, I actually feel that the oh-now-you-can't-be-nommed-for-an-entire-year Policy kind of sort of punishes the winners.. in a manner of speaking.. but 'tis cool, globviously I do get why that policy was put in place. It definitely does make sense, sure, but to me personally it does feel like a bit of a downer and a bummer. (As I've mentioned before, we seriously have a street here called Downer, but pretty sure there isn't one called Bummer). (though there is a Bender Road). While it's likely not advisable to derive too much self-worth from these Awards, I don't garner there's anything too wrong with being at least seminally proud of winning. Whilst this is a good point, it honestly makes me wonder if this doesn't inspire people to work as hard to achieve a certain standard in order to reach the heights of awesome occupied by those five people. That said, it definitely acts as a reward to the people who earn it by being new and showing promise.
With that said, I don't think it's a good idea to ignore established posters like TMC winna when they deserve a win. Newer posters have plenty of time to impress people, and will win when they deserve it - if they don't deserve it and are given POTM simply as an encouragement, this devalues POTM and diminishes the achievements of all who have gone before as winners. Completely concuragree with this however. (n.b. [note bene]: utterly not dissing MadCap or anything, naturally, just bein' cheeky). Also assent though, plenty and plenitude good choices up there.

Voted for TNUK. The last straw that broke the camels back to vote for him was his complaint towards Coffeebot in the nomination thread: You do know that's a waste of a nomination, right? Nobody else is going to nominate me, and that's the way I like it
so, I just had to be a dick and vote for him. (Though, admittedly, "Voting for someone in POTM" is most certainly on the lower end of the "Being a dick" scale).

I can't tell if it's reverse psychology or not, but either way I voted for tnuk. For being not here all the time he's made a pretty powerful impact on the community.

Welcome to the world of tomorrow never-being-nommed-again! (though eaten, or guzzled or nibbled or chomped or imbibed, we may be) Hey, I'm good at this. Two times in a row I've voted for the winner. Aw, you voted for me last time? Woot, Neat, now I know 10 out of my 11 voters! that elusive last one just won't get those ducats of gold bullion, I suppose...Yay, only one person on the poll has zero votes! Was it Thomas Jefferson? Nahh, I bet it was really Rutherford B. Hayes.

Welcome to the world of tomorrow never-being-nommed-again! In my experience, it's more like "The World of Occasionally Being Nommed By People Unfamiliar With the Rules of POTM and Having Those Noms Not Count, But Then in Twelve Months People Can Nominate You Freely Again (and the Craziest Among Them Usually Choose to Do So)"...but I suppose yours is a catchier designation. Also, congratulations to tnuk (and apologies to boasel. I tried, man!).
