POTM 2011/04 nominations: A new era of POTMs begins

Time for the first [wikipeelia]POTM[/wikipeelia] nomination thread following the new format. I figured to start this one myself to give an example of how a nomination thread should/could be looking. In the future, the first one to notice that a new month has started may go ahead and open the nomination thread as long as he/she includes the following information.

The full rules, read the full rules!

The short rules:

• Nominate up to 3 PEELers.
• Don't nominate yourself.
• Don't nominate anyone multiple times.
• Be a champion of your nominees: give a reason if possible.

Just one more question: are we actually allowed to change nominations or is it a "once you nominate you can't change it rule" as with the votes?

I think the answer to both those questions is yes.  As long as you can do so before someone starts counting the nominations.... or notices that you changed something anyways.

What winna said.

• Yes, you can change them, but make a post stating that you have or it could be missed by the nom counter.
• Yes, you can come back and add one later, but again it's best to make it clear that that is what you have done.

I haven't done POTM for quite a long time, but seeing as I've been on Peel a lot in April, and I like the way it's been revamped here goes...

• winna - For always being absolutely hilarious, and for NEVER blatantly spamming in an unfunny way and yet managing to not get banned or even scolded because everybody on PEEL loves him too much to care. Truly winna and the mods who leave him be are role models to all new PEELers looking to see what is and isn't acceptable posting behavior! Let us all bask in how justified we are in attacking a new PEELer for making a post with the same topic several times because as winna shows us every day, this is clearly not okay, and no new PEELer could ever get the wrong idea by observing his posting habits!
