I was going to keep quiet on this issue, but now I'm not.

I and the helper-elves are running the PEELies. If we decide to rig something, not only will it damn well be rigged, but we'll probably boast about doing it.

I'm actually considering rigging a specific award for my own amusement.

No information that we decide not to share will be shared. We might simply post a list of the winners, if that's how we feel like doing it. If you don't like it, GTFO.

Historically, the PEELies are run however the organisers want them to be. So next year, do it yourself if you have a problem with it. You, btw, are inelegible for any awards this year by virtue of being a valueless shitstain. Hope this clears things up for you.

Although in recent years there has been a stats sheet posted showing who was nominated and/or voting percentages. Posting that (even rigged) gives the awards more credibility and more reasons for certain people to shut the fuck up about it.

The only assumption I made was that this spread sheet would show who voted for who and since Nutmeg didn’t correct Bend-err when he said “you can't show people's votes if they wanted to do it anonymously” would lead me to believe that this was the case. Apologizes Nutmeg if you didn’t intend to reveal who voted for who, although I fail to see how a spread sheet with no names on it would prove it wasn’t being rigged.

I’m aware that I’m unlikely to receive any positive awards as people are always envious of their betters but wouldn’t being perceived as a valueless shitstain make me a strong contender for worst Peeler of the year or one of the other negative awards?

From the behind the scenes thing on Caddyshack:

"Rodney's first day shooting, the director yells "Action!" and he just stands there.  He didn't even know "Action!" meant start your scene."

So that got him into films.

edit: I suppose a lot of the old humor might be lost on a younger generation.  Not saying that would be the case with Caddyshack, but it's possible.
