I agree with your reasoning and evaluation of the situation Ben, however, I disagree upon the criteria you use to make that judgement.  It's isn't about whether it's humorous or not, it is, at least to some people.  I certainly can't deny the humor you yourself just described, from that particular angle it is quite hilarious.  As a personal opinion, I feel that having this monthly contest as we do that there should be some sort of simple guideline to follow.  As it turns out, there already is, one which has been developed in a Darwinian manner such as to dictate how we create these threads and go about conducting this little charade of a contest.  Now, I may be going to far in suggesting or even hinting that this contest has any serious implications on anything, but to some degree we do conduct it in a serious manner, and therefore we follow the simple guideline we ourselves have developed over time.  I said guideline, I did not say rules, and as this is only so serious and not super serious, nothing dictating the way we manage PotM is set in stone.  However, out of fairness and out of etiquette, one of the guidelines necessitates that we refrain from voting for indivuals after they have won.  I can't stop anyone from voting for Faze again, or any other individual for that matter, no one can really... and if he's to win twice then that's fine.  It is only a contest, and it is ultimately decided by what our community wishes as a whole.  What happens after he wins the second time though?  Will he win a third?  a fourth?  Will every month be Faze's month to shine?  Perhaps we could have a FotM (Fazeshift of the Month).... I only make these arguments to reveal, if you've been shortsighted enough not to, what sort of precedence this is setting -- and it's a reminder to others who aren't you Ben as well.  I'd also like to mention that by no means am I arguing these things because I don't like faze... that's quite the contrary, other than his dislikes for cats, I often enjoy reading his posts

I was going to Vote for HB5K as she is a ray of sunshine in an otherwise hostile playing field oh and TNUK cause he drives me nuts, and he lives up to his title with spectacular efficacy
