Is there any call for a noob of the year this year? I don't think so somehow since all the really nooby noobs are this year.

Just wondering, but I had like 7 posts in 2009 when I joined late november... the majority of my posts and noobness to PEEL happened in 2010... would I might be eligible?  If not, ok.

That's implying being a good poster requires one to post in Offtopic. In fact, a lot of good, loyal posters barely venture off of Ontopic.

And remember, quality over quantity. Although SweetZombieJesus didn't post much and hasn't posted since August, he was a quality poster IMO.

Being realistic, from what I have gathered here and what is inevitable, it seems we should just assign the award to Nutmeg.  She will get like 70% of the votes at least so there is no way I, or anyone else for that matter, will challenge.

You're a 2010 noob? Impressive! As a fresh noob, I have to nominate FHM as a really awesome noob (if I'm allowed to nominate, even). I don't remember talking to the rest of the noobs.

I'd rather us call this "Best New Poster" to avoid confusion. As mentioned in Nutty's post, n00b is somebody who hasn't exactly learned the rules of the road just yet. The "best" of those wouldn't be a n00b, now would they?

Also, we've had the award for "Most n00by" in the past.
