Do we have to nominate people for every single category? Because I have no idea of who to nominate for most of them.

You don't need to nominate for each category, nor do you have to fill all three nominating slots in each category. And don't nominate Ftang Ftang Olé when you have no idea who to nominate. That would be silly.

This whole nomination process is very self-revelatory for me: for example, everyone I'm nominating for PEELer I'd Like to Fuck is foreign. Apparently, all you need is an accent to get me goin'. Honestly. Even if you sounded like Peter Sellers in The Pink Panther, you'd probably do the trick.

By "have an accent," I assume you mean "spell color with a superfluous 'u'?"

And "favorite." And, if they're feeling old school, maybe they'd go for "shoppe" instead of "shop." It's all the same to me.

Whew, last minute nominations!

Just FYI for others noticing on the last day that they have to do nominations now, we'll be taking them all day. I know that I'll be giving a little leeway on a midnight deadline for people who are horrible procrastinators and the weirdos who live west of me. (West coast? More like left coast, amirite?)

Nice site, Svip; the content amuses me immensely. The color scheme is kind of bleak, though--aren't the PEELies supposed to be a joyous occasion, on-par with the birth of a child or finding some loose change under the couch cushions? I feel like that should be reflected in the design somehow.

I do tend to think of California as America's butt cheeks for some reason.  Not that there's anything wrong with butt cheeks.  I use mine all the time.  Heck, I get paid to sit on them.

Hurry up and send it in.  If I know anything about PEELie councils, they're desperate for a few more nominations about now.  They may also be hungry for pizza  Ham with pineapple, if I'm not mistaken, though I could be getting interference from a delicious weather balloon.

Anyway, I figured out the California/butt cheeks thing.  I think I associated California with callipygian.  It might just be because it looks somewhat like buttocks.
