This is a grievance I've had for a while. I'll try to open a thread to re-read a post or something, only to find that my browser just times out and never opens the thread. Example: The now closed "Best Posts" thread. Just after Nix closed it, I read thru the whole thing. I went back later to re-read what I had posted, but I couldn't open it. On top of that, there's almost no hope of me ever seeing that thread on my computer again, since it's closed and no one can bump it. My question is, how do I solve this problem/prevent it from happening again?

EDIT: Cool, I posted at 00:00. I really am Zilcho.

That is odd, it opens fine for me, try opening it with a different browser.

PEEL seems to have fucked itself quite nicely today.

Server problems, I assume? I've been having trouble opening threads today too. Forums shouldn't do that, it's just plain weird.

I should explain. PEEL is crapping out today, but that's not what I meant. All I meant was that once in a while, I can't open a certain thread on one computer, but then again, I've only tried in AOL and IE (my only two browsers). My random guess is that I need to clear some crap out of my Temporary Internet files or History or something, but I don't know how to do that. Any relevant help now?

Nevermind, problem solved, and as an example for the others, here's a tip: get "Windows Washer". It works wonders.
