Didn't we have an old thread where we submitted the crazier catagories to? I mean, theres the standard ones, best male, female, yadda yadda yadda. But I seem to recall that we all started tossing around "funny" awards to win and we picked the best of them.

Same deal, or just going with last years awards?

Also, if you're going to have that council deal, why not take the top 9 posters? Or 8 considering gnome... well gnome subs in for Futurefreak.

The only thing that's been decided is, as Nix said, we'll be taking applications for the next three days, and then pick the last members of the Brotherhood of the PEELie Committee among those interested.

As for categories, we'll probably be staying with what we have. Ofcourse if some PEEL'er have a killer category post it. No promises on whether it'll get in or even considered.

I'm the highest posting PEELer not to win the PotM, and this month I didn't even get a single nomination.  I take that as a bad sign.

I'm a lot less competitive since I was made mod on another board.  And if that isn't good enough then I'll just have to challenge you to a duel!

I didn't list it on my email, but i could represent the younger PEELers, i'm British and i'm the second highest posting PEELer not to win POTM, but i did get 4 votes against MelBee (Who deserved it anyway).

VF... I'd apply as either a rep of the younger PEELers/ girl PEELers/ postwhoring PEELers, but I've only been on PEEL for two months, so I'm not qualified by Nixorbo's standards

To my knowledge, we've made no decisions apart from the shoo-ins mentioned previously (Teral, Nix, and myself), as well as Tweek for being on the council last year.

I expect Nix will send out an email to those of us already on to pick the rest of the committee members; until that happens and we notify our selections, don't count yourself out.
