Unregistered Users Can't Post Here?

Hey, mArc, apparently unregistered users can't post here anymore, why not? Someone in #Futuramachat is trying to join, and has trouble, but can't post in here about it, it says outside:

The Wish Void Board is free for everyone to post.

But then when you try:

Any registered users may post a topic.

Was this removed?

Someone from england abused it a while back, so it's gone. If they need help with registering, emailing me should do.

Nah, it's fine that way. It stresses the difference to the Info Booth where only admins/mods can open new topics.

My mate (non-member here) tried to join #Futuramachat. He told me this morning that it didn't work for him, but that might be names of people that are already here or something like that. Oh well.

Lee Roberts, this thread is not about #futuramachat. You not suppose to be PEEL member to join chatroom. The names on the bottom of the front page is chatters who are currently in the chatroom.

I think it should be kept the way it is. There are a lot of lurkers who read here but never post. If they didnt have to register then we'd get a lot more spam.

No, they used to be able to post in this forum only, useful if there is trouble signing up or something like that.

Just to check, it wasn't me with my Hawkeye posts back in December, was it?  Apologies if it was, but I was using another computer and I'd forgotten my password.
