Well okay, I'm going to be 100% completely honest. If you do not know how to use MS Paint or IrfanView, you shouldn't bother trying to make avatars. But, if you'd like to know the simplest way to make an avatar transparent, here's what I usually do... -Copy the 64x64 image and paste it into MS Paint. -Using the color black, make a box that is 67x67. -Drag and center the avatar into the box you've made, so that nothing is sticking out. (Transparency will need to be selected) -Take a color that is not used in the avatar itself and use it to fill the background of the avatar with that color. Here is an example: -Then select the insides of the black box (the resulting selection should be 64x64) and copy it. -Open IrfanView and paste the image. -Go to Image > Reduce Color Depth, and select "Custom" and enter a number somewhere around 50. Press okay. -Go to Image > Palette > Edit palette -Find the color that you used to fill in the background (you can test if you've found it by double-clicking on the color and changing its values, if the background changes then you've got the color. -Note the index number of that color (it will appear at the lower right corner). Press okay. -Go to Save As... and select "Options". In the GIF menu, enter the number of the color in the box and select Transparency. Click okay. -Save the file. It might sound complicated at first but it's really very simple. I can usually do it in about a minute or two. This is the simplest and surest way to do it since some computers will not support transparency on the software that came with it, but IrfanView has a stand-alone transparency option and MS Paint is good for basic stuff like filling and placing.

Yes, Cupcake = True. This thread is for fixing of avatars and helping people make them. The Off-Topic is for show-off.
And as aslate said, a full-sized scan of that would be much better. Also, if you'd like my personal opinion, that would not make a good avatar due to the abnormality of Zoidberg's expression and that a background is necessary to make it look half decent. If it was on a transparent background, Zoidberg would appear to have some large tumor growing out of his mouth.

The specific pose I'm thinking of using is the one right after he steps on the campaign manger lady, and stands still for a second or two. If anyone has one or knows where to find one, please post it here or e-mail it to me.
Thanks. Grab 1Grab 2Grab 3Didn't know eaxctly which of the two poses you referred to.

Don't bother, do you want that to go to the pool or would you like it as your personal avatar?
