Registration from GMAIL issue

Sad news, everyone! 

I didn't can register on p.e.e.l. directly with my GMail account, even I used VPN, situated in Dallas. I got registered in my another mail (hervalera@yandex.ru) and changed it in account settings to current.

Is it normal?

Tech stuff about my PC:

My browser is firefox 16.0.1.35-current for amd64
My OS is Free BSD 9.1-current amd64
My provider is South-Telecom (IP pool: 88.83.72.0 - 88.83.77.113, assigned by DHCP)
My home router is Cisco C7200 (Net BSD 4.0-stable, PIM, IGMP, L3 switching).

Nope. It's free UNIX-like OS developed in Berkeley University. Very stable, very robust, free and the best OS in the world!

Too many spambots registering from VPNs/proxies (and Russia, that is). Don't want those here.

Also, too many people wanting to give out cracked stuff.
