You probably meant rhetorical. Also... We can't use .pngs, although I might talk to mArc about that... I prefer slightly thicker lines Smarty... The really really super thin ones don't mesh well with the background. So I tried outlining your avatar... and I'm kind of iffy with how it turned out... but I've been pretty tired today. Let me know how you feel about that one... You don't have to use that one, but hopefully we can work out something in the middle if you're not happy with it, and I can hook you up with setting it as your custom.

Here is an ok one. It is hard because you are trying to fit alot of stuff into a small graphic. Looks too much like pixel art. but here is it just resized--see what you can do i guess.

yeah, maybe a tad bit... also, it's still not the right size. Needs to be 64x64, right now it's 85x71... unfortunately, something is probably goint to have to be cut off... Edit: It's also not transparent. Edit: Alternatively, you could place it into a square canvas... say 85x85 and then resize down to 64x64. This would make a lot of negative empty space in the top and/or bottom.... not sure how that would turn out, but it could be worth a try. Also... because that attempt looks like it's supposed to replicate pixel art, and because the crop job is pretty decent, I'd probably allow it assuming the user wanted it. I'd probably prefer that over a cropped image with the background still in tact.... allowing pixel art like avatars is kind of a grey area, and I'd probably be subjective about it, so be forewarned on similar attempts in the future. Basically my aesthetic criteria are: Does it look good? Does it fit in with the general theme of PEEL? I actually think a lot of my attempts come up short short on the first criteria, if anyone wants to agree with me on that, please by all means pm me.

It's definitely neat.... you've got some jaggieness though.... Ummm... Did you work on it ms paint? Because if that's the case, that's probably where the blurry edge is coming from.... I assume the cartoons and the signature itself are from a scanned image.... try importing it into another image program and adding the lines and text from there... then saving as a jpeg. It works the way it is right now... so I'm somewhere between a & c.... also, it's not like you're planning on posting your signature 50 times per page, right? Just every once in awhile, which infers that it's cool as long as it isn't eye-cancer or page stretchingly huge. Lastly, this is totally an avatar thread! For avatars! I suppose the best location for it would actually be the test thread, but meh. I do kind of like the drawings a lot... and the message is neat though.
