It is not unfair at all. Please don't get us, and especially the moderators of this message board wrong, but seeing that threads already exist means in 99.9% of all cases that newer threads/polls get closed.

So instead of opening your poll / thread you should search for already existing ones and use them. Moderators don't hate you (some do, but that is just because you cause them work), it is their job to keep PEEL clean, and they do it by closing redundant topics.

btw. you are not the only person who's topics are closed.  ;)

So please use the Search function before opening new ones. Also you might want to read the PEELers' FAQ, since it is nicely described in there why topics are closed and how you should behave to prevent this.

btw. this one here will get closed as well

...I didn't start like that.  I learned the rules before I started posting.

Even so, 75% of the threads I've started have been closed anyway.

I started topics like that too when I first started. It seemed like all my topics were being locked,so I read the rules.Sometimes I still start topics that have been done already. But after you read the peeler's faq, you'll realize that you can't expect pointless topics to stay open, they will be closed.

It's not getting "banned". Banning on PEEL means to a member being banned from the board for an amount of time, how short or long as needed. Your threads/polls got closed because there was already one like it. Don't get mad when it happens and don't come here to complain about it.
