I sharpened it before I reduced it, it increases the legibility of the resulting text by preserving edges better. I'm using GIMP, which (as a photoshop user) I'm not entirely satisfied with so far. I think I'm just not used to it yet, there's some significant differences to the interface. Yours look conciderably better.

Oh, and I also rotated the text - that is part of the problem. I did rotate it at full-res. I put it in the "begining" position, with the full text uninterrupted, since the original was split on the word "pretend"

@dr.bender nye : it would help a lot if you had that picture in a bigger size. It is hard t o get quality into something that is already that small.

There are indeed a lot of missnamed avatars, but these are all from before my time, and since most of them are "in use" here, I am not going to change them.

Beside that I could even give them just numbers instead of names, as long as they work I think it's ok.
