Beside that there can't be any more mods as long as some of the old ones get out of business - as far as I know - are there really any new ones needed?
I see that their job is hard here, and that they hardly can hold the upper hand of all the spam that is made.
The question is what is easier to do. Cutting down what causes the work mods have, or to have more mods, whereas the work gets more and more. I think it would be easier to prevent the mess of spam (mostly in the On-topic boards these days) from happening.
If the, more or less, regulars (I am not talking about the new members coming here to ask a question) would cut that down (that's the community's part) it would be much easier than having to clean it up in the end (a mod's job). Think about it, you yourself have been a cause to a lot of moderating work as well, Andy.
If there is really a new mod needed (I seriously doubt it) I still propose Teral to be it.
edit: beside, it is not our task to declare new mods, that's up to SlimmyCGEF and [-mArc-], as well as the existing moderating team.
