Because of this one post? I agree, dumb long username, but the only thread it is acting weird on for me is that one. I wouldn't go so far as to call it an "eyesore".

Perhaps their name should be spaced much like SpaceGoldfish fromWazn's was. It raises another point too, perhaps there should be a limit on word length within any given username to stop this recurring problem happening again?...

There should be a quiz as part of the registration process. Questions should include things like "Is it okay to doublepost?" and "Should you make a thread to say HI, I AM NEW?", as well as "When can you open a new thread that follows on from a previous thread?".

All the answers are on wikiPEELia. A multiple choice exam with ten questions randomly chosen from a pool of twenty would seem to be an appropriate way to get people to confirm that they're not the sort of people who will immediately begin humping the couches and trying to stick their tallywhackers through keyholes once we let them into the lounge.

I'd even be willing to write the question/answer series.

Your post or posts were deleted by somebody for some explicit reason either having to do with what was explicitly contained in your post or perhaps as to how it related to someone else's post in which the material existence of that post was also deleted due to the judgement of somebody who believed it contained explicit content, there by dispelling your post along with it in some sort of desired approach to bring the thread back to whatever topic it was previously engaged in before a post that contained content which somebody with the ability to delete posts found to either go against the purpose of the thread or possibly to engage someone in an unfair argument as to the perspective of the somebody who could delete posts and did and how that perception related with their interpretation of the general rules and loose norms that govern the forum residing at peelified.com.

Without knowing the context and content of your post, I can't properly speculate as to why it was removed, and thus cannot specifically judge it to be an error.  We can discuss the matter further here or elsewhere at your leisure if you'd prefer and were willing to supply the details.

Please be advised that the popular Firefox plugin "NoScript" version 2.6.4.2 and higher causes all sorts of subtly frustrating misery with peelified.  I'm talking about with NoScript set to trust peelified, of course. The symptoms include very slow or non-functional page refreshes, slow loading of pages, and pages hung whilst loading.

If you receive complaints, you might steer the complainants to version 2.6.4.1, which I've tested here with Firefox v15 and v18 and it seems to run just fine.

I started getting involved with PEEL about 12 years ago, I think. Back then I was an undergrad student with a lot of spare time. A lot of things have happened since. These days I run around with a pager (yes, that thing from the 80ies) in case someone at work needs me or something is on the fritz.

I'm still available for emergencies (though the mods don't yet have my pager number ), read direct mails and all post complaints daily, ban Books now and then, and follow a few threads. But the rest of my free hours left each day, I spend differently these days. One of the things I learned in all the time here is that I need to be able to delegate. And that I think I have.

Now, to remind everyone, this is your last page of complaints on PEEL.

It's a symbol of how he and another simultaneously assimilated each other.

Furthermore, his point is that as life passes us by, it will come time that we take our leave to other planes of existence.  At that point, hopefully we will have gathered enough wisdom and left trust in the generations that follow our paths to uphold and keep care with the legacies we leave behind.

Also, he was saying that if you keep posting in this thread, it will soon be closed.  Then there will never be another.  This was one of my favorite threads to post in. :3

Well... everyone isn't equal in almost any tangible way.  The only thing that concerns our equality is that we were all born, and for most people that involved fornication and being dumped out of our mother's wombs into this cold and unforgiving reality.  In that sense, we are all equal, shared heirs to this strange universe that we simultaneously occupy and observe.
