it's 25 threads per page and we start counting threads with 0. So page 50 starts with thread 25 * (50-1) = 1225

Put that behind the "Theads-" part and make

Yep :P The problem was that Threads-0, Threads-1, ..., Threads-24 all show the same content, which google hates. Since then google introduced canonical links, which I added to PEEL as soon as I heard of them.

Oh snap, thank you very much! Everything is encoded into the links it seems. I have used before for finding out information as in, when the board began, who were its first inhabitants, etc.

I am sure there is a similar method to jump around a poster's last posts, too.

People are posting porn and near porn and cartoon peado porn and god knows what else that's worse in the disgustingly bad fanart thread on Off-Topic.

They're basically whoring old stories from Encylopaedia Dramatica and the nastiest amateur shock images they can find, under the pretense that it's "trolling" or "art" or some bizarre hybrid of the two.

SpaceGoldfish fromWazn and Nibblonian Leader could probably do with some form of reminder of the rules they agreed to when they signed up.

Oh, and Farnsworth38 needs to be told to imgur files and make sure they're SFW too. He's on the edge of the line.

I know, the irony of me being the one to point these things out is not lost on me. But my naked spiderman days are done, and frankly the stuff in the fanart thread disgusts even me.

I posted links to Encyclopedia Dramatica, honestly, what is wrong with that? I haven't posted any pornography directly into the threads.  If you don't like old stories from ED, well... no one makes you look at them.   I find them funny, and a few other people do too.

What exactly about ED bothers you?  Is it the bad language?  Well, you are the one who had a massive go at me for censoring my swearwords, and when I stated that I honestly thought that the forums were somewhat family orientated, as the reason for censoring my bad language, you bit my head off again for that one.  If you actually think I am breaking the rules, why don't you just PM me a "Not cool bro" instead of complaining about it to the mods?

So I really don't know what you want from me.

ED has ads from porn sites, not to mention pornographic or border-line pornographic content. If you want to link to ED, at least make sure you spoiler it as a NSFW link. Somebody can easily accidentally click a link otherwise. Remember: never assume people won't click on any link see. And pornographic pictures have always been kept off of PEEL.

And that's what we're asking for at least. If you can't meet us half-way there, continuing to link to it likely won't end nicely for you.

You know, I haven't properly been on ED in such a long time, I forgot they started doing that.   I just remember looking at really bad deviantart artwork on there when I was fifteen.  Plus, I guess when you spend such a large chunk of your adolescence on there you actually forget how NSFW that site actually is most of the time.    Or that it's a bad idea to tell Maddie McCann jokes at your cousin's baby shower.

But seriously, I just thought about the bad animu/videogame from DA on there, and thought linking it would be relevant to the topic.   I actually chose not to post a link to Snapesnogger's article because of all the hermaphrodite snake porn she used to draw.   The artists I chose specifically to post in that thread all draw non porn art.  One of the links I chose was a person who actually was disgusted by artistic nudity in any form.  

Seriously, if all I need to do is post NSFW markers, then I am absolutely fine with doing that.  I'd much rather people just tell me that, instead of complaining about it to someone else, or making ominous remarks about it "not being very nice for you in the end."

Actually, I've just been looking around it now, and I see none. I know they used to, but ever since the site was taken down and put back up under new hosting, I don't think that's been the case. The worst I've seen is ads with girls in bikinis. And if you're telling me that's a problem, next you'll be telling me I can't link to The Pirate Bay and...oh wait.

Anyway, since there are no more porno ads, and Spacefish didn't link to any articles with porn in them, I see nothing wrong with what she did. Yes, perhaps she could include NSFW tags simply due to the naughtiness of the site in general, but...

When has that ever been the idea? As long as you put a NSFW tag, I see absolutely no reason not to allow linking to NSFW things. Hell, people have linked directly to nude photography in the Pretty People threads with NSFW tags and that has never been an issue.

Basically, I'd like to see a new ubermod or two. Our old ones are all well and good but they're quite inactive these days compared to how they used to be. I'd like to see the return of the banstick.

Not sure about the banstick yet. That was created mostly for things that cannot wait a few hours. We rarely get that. All other mods can basically ban via email/PM (to me). And the Mods' Shanty does exist for a reason, too.

But yeah, I think there will be at least one additional mod soon.

FYI, it's hopefully not a big deal, but I encountered an error loading a page on peel today.  The page was:

and the error was:

Content Encoding Error.  "The page you are trying to load cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

It loaded OK a few minutes later.
