@IDIOTSVILLE: To make an avatar out of that is pretty tough, if not impossible to make it look good. It's too small, and editig the text out isn't that easy either.

@JonnyWobbs: I've tried, the red background is needed to make it look good though.

Good question... out of the first two, I'd pick the second, the dark one looks too dark. From the second two the one of him completely show, and the same for the girl + shadow.

So, it's no.2, 3, and 5 for me.

In the end I guess it'll be the girl and shadow for me, but my taste isn't yours too. We both know that.

CFG: Free tip, don't use your background as yellow, or green... Whatever it is, it isn't grey like it's supposed to be.         

I use PEEL's grey, such as in Mellly's post above, then resize it. This will make the edges look nice 'n' smoothe.

I managed to get all the yellow out of this one, but it left the edges a bit jagged.

Mellly, i'll rescan that if you can get me a bigger version of it.

And also people: Quit using GFF as your personal avy-bot. Only request an avatar if you'll be using it for your custom avatar here, or if you need help doing an external one yourself. No more "Can you make me 24 avatars so I can see which one I like best? Oh and make them 100x100, i'm using them at http://lifetapspammer.com."
He doesn't have to do this, and by all rights, he should have gone on strike long ago, and demanded a pay-raise.

Hey, Randy. This here is the right thread to request an avy to be "prepared", I mean resized, transparent making flipping and all that.

The other thread is for your upload wish, either of you want it as a Custom or to be Added to the pool.

Post it there then, I'll pick it up, add it to a zip file which will be uploaded by Slimmy later.

alright. Does it have to be flipped like that? I did yearbook and I know all about how "pictures aren't supposed to be facing the end of the page" etc etc. but I just dont think it looks quite right when it's flipped like that. My current avatar faces the edge of the page as well. I knew it was just a tad big, I could have resized it some more. I guess I'll post the resized version in the other thread. Thanks for your help gff
