Up 'till now I've only seen Futurama on DVD and video tapes. I haven't quite caught it on TV, simply because it wasn't aired on an Israeli channel. It is aired on Star World, an Indian network channel that we recieve but its stuck on 2pm on sunday (???) and I never get to watch it.
Yestarday the first episode of Futurama was finally broadcasted on an Israeli channel. Now, I've seen Space Pilot 3000 about a gazillion times, but I was still excited when it came on the air!  :)
Ehh.. thats it, actually. I just wanted to share!  :D

You are lucky. Any hopes that Futurama will be aired here in Czech Republic are even slimmer than the hopes that Futurama will be revived altogether. Commercial channels are not interested and the statutory one keeps on airing The Simpsons with a big smile on its face. And, sadly, I don't receive any foreign channel (closest one being PRO7).

I don't even know if I would like seeing Futurama in Czech: the dubbing would completely mess the voices. But, on the other hand, it would become more popular here, where only a few friends who I told know about it.

And DVDs are incredibly expensive here because the only way to get them is to order them abroad. Well, tough luck watching poor-quality DivX grabs, but at least we have them.

Wow.. You guys are the true diehards. Being an American Futurama fan is easy! The most we can complain about is when the schedule changes. But you folks out there have it rough, and you hang in there. Tres commendable..

Good to know that the fans overseas are now getting the show... That's just cool.

Hooray! And only 4 years late, Idan! (I'm sorta curious as to how you found out about it in the first place, though....

Oh, and I'd like to point out that Chanel 7 in Aus has aired every ep but the last two (production order). Why? God knows. I've got all the DVD's, but it would have been bloody annoying for anyone who was trying to follow the show without them. As far as they'd know, it ended on '300 Big Boys.'

Oh, and thanks, Xerxes, for making it possible for me to wear my "Even Czech people like Futurama" shoes.  ;)

As you know, I gave up waiting for Channel 7 to air the last 2 eps....they suck....they'll probbaly show them during the Xmas season when they have nothing else to put on....

"Oh yeah let's throw on that show that got us ratings a couple of years ago....what was it called....? ...."

"What, there's only 2 eps left....? Awww...."

Here in France,it's shown at 8:20pm.  I had to tape it cos it crashes with the news which my hubby wants to watch.  So far it's been available in original version on digital which is good.

I hope they don't suddenly changed their mind like they do with south park. I don't like watching programmes in dubbing version especially I understand the original version.

Otherwise I will write them a complaint as my hubby has been subscribing channels from them for a long time.  I will not bothered to pay extra expensive sums on digital on dubbing version when there are plenty of good high quality programme that the original version is French on normal TV.
