I'll admit I overreacted a bit, but I certainly didn't say "always". In my defense, it just seems that most of the time I see you posting, you are attacking someone for their thread, and I'm sensitive about that. Maybe I'm just reading you wrong, and you're not trying to be cynical or mean, but it does come off that way.
Now, let's put this whole thing behind us, agree to disagree, and try not to be cynical or negative to each other. If I came across as a horse's ass by expressing my opinion (I'll admit I was being passionate), then I'm sorry.
Friends?
P.S. I believe in AFF, and that's my chosing. You don't have to, and we'll never convince each other otherwise.
(edit): Gff, I extend my apologies to you as well. Let's put this whole debate behind us, and forget it all. Today was actually the first time I saw you being cynical or negative about something. But, like I asked of Lamp, let's just start anew.

Matt Groening has its own website... i guess. We could write him an email in the name of peelified and -ask- him what to do. Sounds stupid but stupid situations cause stupid reactions.

Well, I remember when Fox cancelled "America's Most Wanted" a few years ago. The outraged public got it back on the air with their letters. I'll admit its a completely different kind of show, and had a few political bigwig supporters, but it did get back on the air the next season. And my goodness, the internet hadn't been developed, yet fan support of "Star Trek" kept it alive, going on, umm, 30+ years or so? Why give up after only 1 year of cancellation?

I think it's time the people on both sides of the argument accept their differences. If you've given up, go the whole way and give up on posting in these threads. The people who haven't given up aren't exactly harming anyone, even if it's not going to do any good either...
This is where I stand, 99.9% sure it'll never come back. Despite this, seeing people still fighting for the show makes me feel quite happy, because it's keeping the spirit of the show alive...

Otis, thank you. You're the first to put something so eloquently here (I'll admit, even I haven't). I'm also pretty sure I'll never see a new Futurama episode again, but it's no harm done to try.
Even if it never comes back, why not make it a living legacy? A cartoon only dies when people stop laughing, so it should be our duty as fans (whether we support movements to protest the cancellation or save the show or not) to spread the word about the show, and keep fansites like these alive. Most of us are doing the latter just by posting here, and that helps a lot.
So, spread the word about Futurama, tell people about its timeslot on Adult Swim, let a friend who hasn't seen the show borrow your season 1 box set, and, if you're a supporter, spread the word about AFF.
In fact, thinking about this, word of mouth is a great way to help get the show back. If every Futurama fan makes someone else a fan, then the fanbase effectively doubles. Who knows what that can do?

And the reason you bumped this is? just to say "the Simpsons" in Caps.I mean you said it yourself that this bump is pretty useless, so why doing it then? Oh well... never mind. --- Damn this thread brings back memories of fighting against Zoidy. It was also the reason mic started the "Futurama is over and there is nothing you can do about" thread. Memories... memories...
